What is the average distance a soccer player runs per game?

For a:

Defensman: ??
Midfielder: ??
Striker: ??

How about distances players run in College Soccer, Club Soccer and International Level Soccer?

Around 8.5 kilometers (5.3 miles).

Midfielder runs the most, then defenseman, then striker.
I’d say they run the most in Club Soccer, but they probably run more in International Soccer when the games are more serious. Stuff like friendlies aren’t as tiring as League games.
